The craftswoman holds both soap making and wool felting craft certificates. She kindly invites you to participate in the education of these crafts, sharing her knowledge and the most interesting stories. Since 2009, she felts a variety of custom-made wool products (Lithuanian sheep, New Zealand card web, Merino, Spanish, dog wool, etc.).
The purpose of the educational program
To foster traditional crafts, engage children and adults in craft activities, to encourage creativity and develop new hobbies. To acquaint with the history of wool felting in Lithuania, its felting methods and tools.
Activities: Participating in the program, you will learn about the felting techniques, tools used, decorating means used, and will learn how to weave your chosen needlework in wet felting way. The craftswoman can offer different felting lessons for different age groups. Pupils from the age of 10 can take part in the education of computer mouse, cup pad felting, Christmas tree toy or Easter egg wrap up-felting and education of felting of the telephone case – from the age of 14. And felting of mittens is meant for pupils from the age of 16 and adult groups.
Duration of education: 1,5 hours.
Number of participants: up to 25 persons.
Seasonality: All year round.
