A craftsman with the name of a folk artist and a paper-cutting master, he used to carve wood and metal. In 1988, he started making paper cuts. He is a very active participant in regional, national and international folk art exhibitions. He has also organized more than 10 personal exhibitions in Lithuania.
The purpose of the educational program
To inform about the history and present of cutting art, various paper cutting techniques, to learn the subtleties of cutting art composition, to evaluate works of Lithuanian cutters in the world context.
Activities: During your education, you will learn about the craft of paper cutting, learn how to choose composition elements and how to work with a variety of paper cutting techniques, and finally make custom work. The craftsman can offer various educational programs according to the level of knowledge of the students. Those who want to learn more continue to work individually.
Duration of education: 1 – 2 hours.
Number of participants: 5 – 7 persons.
Seasonality: All year round.
