The historic Alytus synagogue, which just a few years ago appeared abandoned, was fully restored in 2021. This culturally significant building now serves as a branch of the Alytus Museum and is used for cultural and educational activities. The structure stands out for its authentic 19th-century architectural style, which has survived the test of time. The synagogue is a key cultural heritage site, inviting visitors to learn about the history of the Jewish community in Alytus.
