When visiting Alytus district, make sure to explore the White Rose Bridge, known as the tallest bridge in Lithuania.
This remarkable structure, completed in 2015, connects two banks of the Nemunas River: the resort area of Alytus Old Town with the Alytus Mound. The White Rose Bridge stands at a height of 38.10 m (from the average water level), stretches 240.53 m in length, and is 6.71 m wide. Thanks to its impressive dimensions, the bridge has been listed in the Lithuanian Book of Records.
From the bridge, you can enjoy stunning views of the Alytus landscape, and it links two major recreational zones of the city. At the beginning of the bridge, on the Dainų Valley side, stands a 21 m tall sculpture called "Ring."
The site also offers additional activities, such as extreme rope jumps and guided scenic tours.
