While vacationing in the Lazdijai district, visit the Veisiejai Regional Museum, established in 1998.
This museum houses exhibits reflecting the past, telling stories about the deportation of local residents and other historical periods of Lithuania and the region.
The museum also features exhibitions dedicated to Ludwik Lejzer Zamenhof, the ophthalmologist and founder of the international Esperanto language, as well as composer Juozas Neimantas.
