A small private museum presenting the history of the entire town and one particular house next to the church bell tower, dating back to 1922. This cosy attic space recalls the tea rooms and taverns that once operated in the town. Visitors can purchase the hostess’s artworks, souvenirs, hand-tied Lithuanian incense, as well as herbal teas made from herbs grown in the surrounding forests and fields and on the family farm.
The house also hosts pottery workshops, natural incense-making sessions, herbal tea-making workshops, and tastings.
The history here is not shiny or polished, but real and authentic, marked by the passage of time.
