While visiting Prienai, make sure to stop by the Prienai Regional Museum. The museum collects materials about the region’s writers, prominent priests, scientists, compatriots abroad, political prisoners, deportees, and resistance fighters.
The Prienai Regional Museum was opened in 1995. Visitors will find information about Father Juozas Zdebskis, a clandestine priest and fighter for the rights of believers. In the gallery halls, you can explore valuable folk art and ethnographic exhibits. Additionally, the museum features an exhibition dedicated to the works of the famous Lithuanian poet Justinas Marcinkevičius.
