While relaxing at one of the rural tourism homesteads in the Kaunas district, make sure to include the Dubrava Reserve Area on your list of places to visit.
This is a natural raised bog surrounded by a forest untouched by humans since 1968. Over five decades, the area has flourished with a variety of trees and plants.
You can explore the reserve along a 1.9 km educational trail. Along the way, you'll find 8 information stands that will help you learn about the local flora and fauna.
