The guide presents military heritage sites, including museums, fortresses, military installations, trails, bunkers, battlefields, military towns, infrastructure and memorials. It offers not only opportunities to visit these sites, but also to take part in guided tours, hikes to military heritage sites, taste local food and enjoy other experiences. Multi-day itineraries have been developed for exploring military heritage sites.
The guide is accompanied by a tourist map featuring 242 military heritage sites across Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia, including 113 sites in Lithuania and Southern Latvia, as well as 10 travel itineraries.
