While spending your holidays at a rural tourism homestead near Kaunas, don't miss the opportunity to visit the Lithuanian Zoo.
The zoo was opened in 1938 at the initiative of the renowned Lithuanian zoologist, writer, and traveler Tadas Ivanauskas. Here, you can see around 2,000 different animals and 250 species. It is the largest collection of exotic animals in Lithuania. To get to know the animals more closely, participate in the interactive programs and educational activities organized by the zoo.
