Enhance your countryside retreat with a visit to Kaunas and a walk along Laisvės Alėja.

This is the main street of Kaunas, renowned as one of the longest pedestrian streets in Europe, stretching 1,621 meters. The stunning Orthodox Cathedral of St. Michael the Archangel divides the street into two unequal parts.

Laisvės Alėja is adorned with tree-lined avenues and remarkable landmarks, such as the monument to Vytautas the Great and a sculpture of Danielius Dolskis, the pioneer of Lithuanian pop music, located near the fountain.
