M. K. Čiurlionis is the most famous Lithuanian artist and composer, who lived at the end of the 19th and the beginning of the 20th century. The art museum named after him is one of the largest and oldest in Lithuania. It houses almost all of the works created by this renowned Lithuanian artist. The museum stands out for its blend of art and music – the gallery showcases Čiurlionis’ paintings, while the music hall echoes with his compositions.
